Build a stronger professional business
Use the membership, standards and licensing resources to understand responsibilities, identify questions to raise with regulators and improve the consistency of customer service.
Explore operator resources →A stronger industry starts with clear standards, responsible operators, informed customers and a credible voice for professional limousine and chauffeur transportation across British Columbia.

Not every limousine or chauffeur company operating in British Columbia is a member of the B.C. Limousine Association. Association membership is voluntary and is separate from the provincial licence or operating authority a company may be required to hold.
If you have a concern about an operator, you can contact BCLA with the company name and ask whether it is a member. If the company is a member, the association may review the concern and, where appropriate, help facilitate communication under its member standards. Regulatory, safety, licensing or enforcement matters should be directed to the appropriate government authority.

How industry advocacy works →
Membership should create practical value. Operators need timely regulatory information, a forum for common concerns, clear service expectations and opportunities to learn from businesses facing similar operational challenges.
Professional operators should understand the authority under which they operate and keep licensing information current. Customers should know where to verify it.
Vehicle condition, commercial insurance, driver qualifications, trip planning and customer communication all contribute to professional service.
Rates, deposits, cancellations, wait time, itinerary changes and special requests should be discussed before travel rather than discovered afterward.
Regulatory note: the Passenger Transportation Board, not BCLA, issues and administers passenger transportation licences. Use our licensing guide as orientation and confirm current requirements with the Board.
BCLA was established by limousine operators around a simple idea: the industry is stronger when professional operators can share information, promote responsible standards and speak collectively on common concerns.
About the AssociationBCLA’s earlier leadership included Sarb Nagra of Destiny Limousine, Manjit Virk of Time Limousine, Kulwant Sahota of Limojet Gold and Maninder Grewal of Griffin Transportation. Their names are preserved as part of the association’s recorded history.

No. BCLA is an industry association. Provincial licensing and regulatory decisions belong to the Passenger Transportation Board and other applicable authorities.
The practical value should include industry information, shared advocacy, professional resources, networking and a clearer framework for service standards. See the Membership page for the full approach.
Confirm the provider, vehicle type, passenger and luggage capacity, price structure, pickup instructions, cancellation terms and any special requirements before paying a deposit.
