Purpose
Why British Columbia benefits from an industry association
The limousine and chauffeur sector sits at the intersection of passenger safety, tourism, business travel, airport transportation, events and local mobility. Operators work within provincial licensing requirements while also dealing with municipal rules, insurance, commercial vehicle obligations, customer expectations and fast-changing technology. An association provides a place to connect those issues instead of treating each one in isolation.
BCLA's role is not to replace government. It is to help professional operators understand shared responsibilities, exchange practical information, contribute informed perspectives to policy discussions and communicate clearly with the public.
